Artist: Jan Stanisławski (1860-1907)
Jan Stanisławski, the versatile Polish artist and educator, achieved full professorship at Kraków's Academy of Fine Arts in 1906.
His journey from mathematics to art, including Parisian tutelage, culminated in remarkable exhibitions in Paris and Kraków. He collaborated on notable works and organised the Separate Exhibition of Painting and Sculpture in 1897.
His legacy lives on through exhibitions and his students' works, celebrated at the Palace of Art in 1907.
