Tadeusz Makowski, the Polish painter who found his artistic soul in Paris, experienced a transformative journey. Initially shaped by mentors in Kraków, he heeded the call of Paris in 1908, embracing Cubism under the tutelage of luminaries like Henri Le Fauconnier.
During wartime he was beckoned to Brittany, where nature became his muse, inspiring stylised landscapes. Later, his palette danced with the vibrancy of carnivals, fairs, and children, reminiscent of Dutch Masters, Polish folk art, and naïve traditions.

Fine Art Paper: 230gsm matte paper.
Fine Art Canvas: 420gsm premium cotton/poly blend. Unframed canvas prints will have no border. If you wish to have a border/mirrored edging, please email us with your requirements.

Our digital prints are delivered within minutes of placing your order. You'll receive an email containing instructions on how to access and download your artwork.
Framing Details
Framing is available for Paper Prints and Canvas Prints. Canvas framing is for 'A' Ratio only. For specific/custom needs, please email us and we will see what we can do.
Our frames are all made to order within New Zealand and are are completed with taped backs and hanging hardware attached.
Our regular frame dimensions are 20-22mm wide and 20mm deep.
For Canvas float frames the dimensions are 10mm wide and 45mm deep.
Our framing previews are shown with A2 size prints. The look of the finished product will vary depending on the size you order. For example, if you order a 5x7 framed print, naturally the frame will appear thicker as the print is smaller. However it is still within the aforementioned dimensions.
